You know what I love? EASY. I’m lazy whenever possible. Now, I’m not a lazy bum, but when I can find and easy work around, you better BELIEVE that I will use it. We’re all busy, and we all need to find efficient ways to do things, right?
Efficiency isn’t my only excuse to go ham on this brand (it’s definitely a good reason, though! I mean, that’s what I tell the hubby). This brand is also incredible quality. I am NOT getting paid for this (lol, are you kidding? I’m not getting paid much for blogging), so anything I blog about is because I truly give a crap about it. And this brand is the real deal.
I originally bought some products from Milk Makeup before a cruise I went on with some friends in April. I was looking for products that were quick and easy to apply, but also that wouldn’t sweat off my face. I didn’t want to cover my face in liquid foundations or anything, because it was going to be a tropical cruise. It was already going to humid, so the last thing I wanted to do was to overload my face and end up looking super shiny and sweaty.
I was intrigued by a lot of the products being in stick form. I LOVE makeup sticks. It’s kind of like your face becomes a coloring book — super fun! That being said, it’s always a concern that makeup sticks will dry out your skin. I can tell you…this brand won’t do that to you. It’s the best of both worlds. It’s also formulated without parabens, sulfate, and phthalates.
I’ll share some of the products I have, and I’ll give you a list of what I’m going to try next!
This was the first product that got me hooked on Milk Makeup. I’ve always had concealer on my list of necessities for life. Genetically, I have some decent dark circles under my eyes. My bad habit of staying up late and getting up early also tends to worsen those dark circles, so I need really good coverage under there! I’ve used Clinique for a long time, which was great, but then I found the Flex Concealer. I was sick of makeup lines under my eyes, and the great thing about this concealer as that they are seriously minimized. It flexes and sticks to your skin instead of gathering into those gross, gunky little lines in those fine lines under the eye. I was seriously SO impressed by this product…if you are looking for an amazing undereye concealer, HERE. YOU. GO.
Matte Bronzer – Baked
The Milk Makeup Matte Bronzer in Baked is a great tool for subtle contouring. Anyone else watch those videos on YouTube about how to contour and think: “Hell no, that’s way too much work.” Yup, that’s me. This is nice, because again it’s a stick that you literally draw on to where you want a little bit of a contour. It goes on super smoothly and blends beautifully. I typically draw a line under my cheekbones and blend downward. I’ll also occasionally do a line at my jaw line and hair line for a little more definition. I promise, you won’t look like a clown, because the blending is just that easy!

These are all the things that are waiting patiently in my Sephora shopping cart for me to try:
- Holographic Highlighting Powder in Supernova: a more blue-toned highlighter in a powder form.
- Eye Pigment in Peep Show: a SUPER pigmented cream eye color, this is a nice neutral color with some shine.
- Lip and Cheek Perk: a stick of pigment for cheeks and lips – versatile, something that would be perfect to throw in my purse!
- Lip Color in Wifey: a bold, matte lip stick that boasts being super moisturizing and perfect for all-day wear.
- Blur Liquid Matte Foundation: I’ve had so much success with the blur stick, I feel like I should give the foundation a shot!
