Another weekend, another wedding! I love weddings…celebrating people tying the knot, dressing up, getting down on the dance floor, and reminiscing with old friends…it’s seriously the best. If you checked out my last post about weddings [ how to dress for a black tie event, HERE ], you know how much I love getting dressed up for these fancy occasions.
Weddings are fun when you get to travel, but I’ve had such a nice time heading to local weddings! The Bay Area is a gorgeous place to get married, so I love to enjoy the scenery when it’s basically in my backyard!
I wanted to share this pretty wedding look, perfect for an outdoor wedding we recently went to. I loved this dress because it’s so fun! This dress has got it all…a perfect pleat, a simple pattern, and a cool gray tone perfect for transitioning into fall.
This dress had me feeling super confident and comfortable! It’s relatively light and loose, so I wasn’t worried about getting bloated at dinner (or looking full from all the champagne, LOL). I was so comfortable, I danced the night away on the dance floor! At one point, Sheldon decided to do some push ups on the dance floor…and you guys know, I am not to be outdone! Platform heels and all, I got down and did a few good push ups…goes to show you just how comfortable this dress it! Also just how powerful a couple glasses of champagne can be…
