I love the juxtaposition of this outfit. This sweet, girly dress with the boyish charm of these loafers is a perfect example of mixing fall trends while looking chic and effortless. I wore this look while we were traipsing around Rome, and I felt so chic and confident in it.
This is the perfect look for saying goodbye to summer and hello to fall. It’s light and airy enough for a hot summer day, but the oxfords make it fall ready. This look is perfect if it gets a little chilly in the evening, because you can just toss a chunky cardigan on top of it (I love THIS ONE and THIS ONE from Free People…the second one is on MAJOR SALE right now). It’s a super easy look for these weird transitional days…cold in the morning, burning up by the afternoon.
These shoes (Freda Salvadore, HERE), though a little pricey, are some of my favorites. They kind of go with everything and are unique and eye-catching. I’ve been stopped many times while wearing these because people instantly fall in love with them. I wish I could take credit for finding this brand, but my super trendy friend is the one who turned me on to them. I am obsessed now. I have this pair and two more pairs (another D’Orsay flat similar to this HERE, and this mule HERE). They really hold up over time and because they are real leather, they mold to your foot and get even more comfortable over time.
This exact dress I got from Lulu’s, but unfortunately it’s sold out. I linked a ton of ruffled polka-dot dresses below, but if you’ve got your eye on this one, you can sign up HERE to receive an email update from Lulu’s if it comes back in stock. I really like this long-sleeve version from Target HERE for under $50…perfect for fall and I love the irregular polka-dot pattern.
I sell Stella & Dot jewelry…mostly because I needed new jewelry when I started out, but I love most of their products. It turned out being a great way for me to stay on top of trends for accessorizing, too! I’ll link all of my accessories here for you! I’m wearing this gorgeous Covet leather purse that has removable straps and goes with everything. A great accessory to have both for casual and dressy events. I’m also wearing these lovely Arabesque Chandeliers and a cuff super similar to this one (which I have in silver). I’m lucky, because I get most of this jewelry at a heavy discount because I’m a stylist!
