Something I’ve learned in the past month: wide leg pants are incredibly flattering. I’ll always have my love for skinny jeans as a great basic piece, but when you find a nice wide leg pant or trouser, they become the star of the show. The silhouette from this jumpsuit is beautiful and the actual outfit is so comfortable. They are also incredibly versatile: you can wear sandals for a casual vibe, menswear inspired shoes for a more trendy vibe, and heeled sandals for a fancy vibe. Literally all the vibes.
This particular jumpsuit is unfortunately sold out, but there are so many other options out there for this that I may or may not have added a few other options to my shopping cart! I know, I know, I’m excessive, but once I find a look that works for me, I tend to but it in every color and option. Even while we were in Rome, I ran to Zara to pick up a couple wide leg pants! All of the beautiful Italian women were wearing them AND they looked so darn comfortable!
This particular jumpsuit is cropped and wide leg, but still makes my silhouette look tall. I have no idea how it does that, maybe magic, but I’ll take it. I also love the polka dot pattern (it’s going to be huge for fall) and the pretty strappy detailing at the bust. I’ll keep an eye out to see if they restock this particular one for you guys!
Your other options are, umm, amazing! I love this blue jumpsuit from ASTR [ HERE ]. It’s a super pretty dark blue with a little cutout under the bra line. It’s perfect for being a casual weekend look or layering with a leather jacket and sandals for going out. It’s a little summery, so can transition you from summer to fall now, and be perfect to welcome back spring in a few months!

I’m also really into this basic black jumpsuit from Chelsea28 [ HERE ]. This jumpsuit truly is a work-to-weekend piece, and would go just as easily with stilettos for an event, flats for work, or sandals for a casual weekend. This would also go perfectly with a pretty statement necklace.

This Vince Camuto one is also just beautiful [ HERE ]. Unfortunately this number is nearly sold out, but I found a really similar cut (more drapey in the front) that comes in blue and black and is made out of a comfy jersey material [ HERE ]. This gorgeous coral jumpsuit is giving me all the feels though!

Can you tell I’m obsessed with jumpsuits?
All of my accessories are Stella & Dot. This bag is the Covet Waverly in Stone…it’s leather and so soft and versatile. I love this bag because I can change the straps so that it unfolds and is a little bigger on the fly! My bracelet is the Pave Protective Eye Cuff (under $30!) with proceeds going to the American Red Cross right now. With a fun jumpsuit like this, I think it’s important to keep the accessories understated, especially when pairing with these menswear-inspired shoes. These babies are my coveted Freda Salvadors. I’m so obsessed with this brand…the leather is real Italian leather and so buttery. My friend introduced me to this San Francisco brand and my life is forever changed (as in I’m really picky about leather shoes now).
I have SO many wide leg options and jumpsuits in the widget below that I thought you guys would like! Take a look and get shopping!
As I’m writing this, we are on our way to the last stop on our Italy adventure – Venice! I’m taking a ton of photos and have so many travel tips for you guys, I can’t wait to share them in a few weeks! For now, I’ll just keep soaking of the wine and espresso while I can. I will say…I do really miss my dog Monty and can’t wait to see him again! LOL dog mom problems!
Check out my last post about pairing shorts and booties for another perfect transitional look [ HERE ] as we (hopefully) head toward cooler weather! I also have blogged about the cutest mini dress and sneaker combo EVER [ HERE ]. And don’t forget the fall trend you have to get on: the pleated skirt. Fall is going to be all about texture in clothes, and this is an easy one to grab for a great price that is chic and fun. Read all about it [ HERE ]. I’m working on a post about my favorite fall trends and my wishlist for fall that will be going up this weekend, so keep a look out!
