Raise your hand if you’re a last-minute kind of person! I definitely have the procrastination gene, and Christmas is a rough time for last-minute shopping. My organization and planning skills have improved over the years, but I still get in trouble around the holidays. The month of December just flies by, and it’s Christmas before you know it! We’re at the one week countdown for Christmas, so I’m going to share some of my best last-minute holiday shopping tips.
These tips will not only help you conquer Christmas, but they’ll keep the next seven days as stress-free as possible. I know this time of year can be so stressful and exhausting, but Christmas is not about killing yourself to find the perfect gifts. It’s about thinking of others and being with family and friends, so keep that in mind when shopping. Be thoughtful, but the reason for the season is NOT to spend a million dollars on crap people don’t need. This is my round-about way of saying: chill out, it’s going to be alright. Even if I can’t take that advice sometimes, lol.
LAST-MINUTE GIFT IDEAS
BUY ONLINE & PICK UP IN STORE
I’ve got a couple go-to retailers for this function: Target and Nordstrom. We can start with Target, because they’re also having a crazy good offer right now: FREE DELIVERY BY 12/23 on any order placed by 12/20! So amazing! My favorite quick and easy gifts from Target are in the widget below. I’ve included some pretty pajama sets for him and for her, a holiday candle, and a super cozy heated blanket to name a few. I’ve also got some cute beanies for her and even a stylish tie for him.
Nordstrom is my go to for buying online then picking up in store. Once you order, your purchase is ready in under two hours…it’s so easy, and you barely get out of you car. SO great if you are crazy busy. AND they’re return policy is super generous, so this retailer is a no-brainer for the picky ones on your Christmas list. I found these cool iPhone cases for her and for him that have slots for credit cards on them, this crazy cozy looking throw blanket, some slippers for him, and this pretty initial necklace for under $50! Check out the rest of my Nordies picks in the widget below.
Anyone who has talked to me for more than 5 seconds know that I HATE leaving my house. Like, I need convenience. I’m all about creature comforts. This means I like getting mostly everything delivered, and quickly if possible. Enter: Amazon Prime. The most life-changing thing EVER. Like, EVER. Two-day delivery on everything for $100 per year. Yup, I’m on board. This little feature also makes Amazon an amazing last-minute gift destination!
I have to say…the Amazon Echo is so cool. They have the regular one, and then there’s the Amazon Echo Show. It has a screen and syncs to your phone to make hands free calls. Super freaking cool. I love Amazon products, including the Kindle, a great way to carry all of your books with you.
I also love the amount of fashion Amazon offers! I love this pretty tote from Fossil, it’s perfect for spring! I’ve also picked out a few other fashion finds for him and her, just click the pictures below to explore each option!
Mistobox: a monthly coffee subscription, perfect for the coffee lovers who want to try all the coffee! You can get them a subscription and just swing by Whole Foods and grab a nice bag of coffee, boom, gifted.
Harry’s: A razor subscription so every shave is fresh and fly. Razors to your door are life-changing!
Birchbox: I love my monthly Birchbox! It’s like a fun little beauty present every month. I’ve found so many fun products through this box, too!
FabFitFun box: This box is quarterly, and the products tend to be full-sized. This box also includes fashion and jewelry pieces as well, so it’s a little bit of everything!
Barkbox: This present is for Monty! A curated box (based on dog size) is sent to your door every month! The best part: the first month is only $5! Look at him…he’s going to love his Barkbox!
Good luck on your holiday shopping! If you’re looking for more inspiration, I’ve got four other gift guides up! There’s the gift guide for him, the gift guide for her, the gift guide for the beauty lover, and the gift guide for the hostess.
